Bede Gaming bolsters exec team with two senior hires
Former Sage duo Beth Crosier (pictured) and Paul Dinning join the online gaming supplier as finance director and chief operating officer respectively
Egaming supplier Bede Gaming has strengthened its senior management team with the appointment of a new finance director and chief operating officer (COO), eGaming Review can reveal.
Beth Crosier (pictured) and Paul Dinning both joined the company last month from fellow Newcastle-based firm Sage as finance director and COO respectively as Bede looks to significantly expand its client portfolio.
“We are delighted to have recruited two excellent new members to the senior executive team at Bede,” Joe Saumarez Smith, chairman of Bede Gaming, told EGR.
“Beth and Paul will make an enormous contribution to help Bede’s continued rapid growth and to ensure we have the processes and management capacity in place to take on a large number of new clients,” he added.
Crosier, who has also joined the Bede Gaming board, most recently served as CFO of the European region for The Sage Group PLC after previously working in a number of senior financial roles at the company.
She is a chartered accountant having trained at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Newcastle-upon-Tyne and San Jose, California.
Bede Gaming’s new COO Dinning joins from Sage UK where he served as development director for all the Payments businesses within the Sage UK portfolio.
Dinning has a background in banking having worked at a number of high-profile banking institutions including UBS Investment Bank, Deutsche Bank and Morgan Stanley.
The appointments of Crosier and Dinning come after Rank migrated its entire Mecca Bingo and Grosvenor Casinos digital business onto the Bede platform earlier this year.
Following the migration, Rank recently reported the Grosvenor Casinos business had recorded a 37% year-on-year rise in revenues, after adding more than 100 new titles added to its online offering and improved bonus and customer tracking functionality.
Bede Gaming, which powers more than 30 egaming sites, is now developing an omni-channel solution to provide Rank with a single view of its customers across digital and land-based environments.
