BGO names Genting’s Andrew Bentley as new CEO
Operations manager for Genting Interactive will join the online casino operator in April
BGO has hired Genting Casinos’ online operations director, Andrew Bentley, as its new CEO, EGR has learned.
Bentley will join the UK-facing operator in April to fill the chief executive role, which has been vacant for a couple of years.
Bentley started his career at Ladbrokes in 2004 where he held a number of marketing and product development positions within the online business.
He has spent the last nine years at Genting where he has held a number of roles, including head of gaming and operations director.
Speaking to EGR, Bentley said: “I am excited to be joining such a strong and established gaming brand and look forward to working with the team to grow the business.”
BGO has been led by CFO and managing director Hannah Westley since her appointment to the firm in 2015.
In September the operator announced it would be simplifying its bonusing requirements by no longer requiring customers to wager bonus funds before withdrawing.
