GIG signs marketing partnership with UK horseracing affiliate
Operator to handle marketing for GG.co.uk in exchange for insight into the UK horseracing market
Gaming Innovation Group (GIG) has entered the horseracing fray in time for Cheltenham through a contra deal with affiliate site GG.co.uk.
GIG will handle the horseracing site’s paid marketing campaigns via its in-house technology solution, while in return GG.co.uk will provide the operator with content and expertise to help it enter the UK horseracing market in the future.
A GIG statement said the deal would allow both parties to focus on each other’s strengths and give GiG a future entry point into the UK horse racing market.
Chief digital officer at GiG, Richard Brown, said: “I am excited to launch a first partnership of this kind. GG.CO.UK is a leading horse racing site and we believe there is a vast untapped opportunity to strike similar partnerships with other affiliates across other sports
“The end game for GIG is to be a market leader in all aspects of the world of sports betting.

Colin Jelfs ,managing director at GG.co.uk, which provides news, results and tips for horse racing punters, added: “We’re excited to be working with the team from GiG, and the capabilities they have within paid marketing, which to date has been unknown territory for us.”
