Norsk Tipping eyes strategy and innovation with new directors
Eirill K. Holtvedt and Per Kristian Mengshoel will oversee organisational and product development going forward
Norwegian monopoly Norsk Tipping has appointed two new directors to focus on strategy and innovation.
Eirill K. Holtvedt has been named director of strategy and organisational development, and will be responsible for developing the operator’s strategy going forward. She has spent almost 20 years in several positions at Norway’s largest financial services group DNB.
Holtvedt said: “I’m very excited to start in Norsk Tipping. It sounds like an amazingly exciting workplace, and as an active athlete, I see daily [that] the profit of Norsk Tipping is going towards children and young people’s leisure activities.”

Per Kristian Mengshoel has been promoted to director of innovation and product development after having spent five months as the operator’s interim MD for innovation.
Mengshoel has spent six years at the firm and will be tasked with leading product development strategies.
CEO, Åsne Havnelid, said: “Per has an exciting expertise and experience from several environments in addition to Norsk Tipping.
“I’m particularly pleased that we could find such a skilled and good candidate within our own ranks, and look forward to working with Per.”
