Redbet launches improved Kambi-powered sportsbook
MRG subsidiary completes move, debuting new features and functionality
Redbet has debuted its new sportsbook in partnership with sports betting technology supplier Kambi.
The new sportsbook contains an improved version of its cash-out feature, which includes more pay-out options and increased availability. It also includes several new player-statistics in an upgraded user interface.
Redbet, which operates under the Evoke Gaming umbrella, was founded in 2002 with a mission to “create a fun, engaging and trustworthy place to play and one where the happiness of our players is always paramount.”
Evoke was acquired by MRG in December 2017, in a €8.5m deal which included several Evoke operated gaming sites, including Redbet, Vinnarum casino and bingo brand, Bertil.
Jesper Kärrbrink, Mr Green CEO, said: “Redbet’s new sportsbook offers entertainment for a wider player base, which is important when introducing the brand in several markets.
“Thanks to Kambi, flexible product and our own unique features, we believe that Redbet’s new sports book will be appreciated by our players and that they will enjoy both the enhanced user experience and the design.”
A deal to transition the Redbet sports betting platform from SBTech to Kambi was first agreed in July. Mr Green uses Kambi technology in its own sports betting platform having agreed a deal in 2016.
Kambi chief commercial officer Max Meltzer welcomed Redbet’s transition onto Kambi technology, adding: “It’s great to see Redbet go live on the Kambi Sportsbook platform this week following what was a speedy and smooth transition from its previous supplier – just two months from start to finish during a busy period operationally with the World Cup and newly regulated markets opening up.
“The result is Redbet now has the flexible Sportsbook it required to take the next step and realise its ambitions of entering new markets with an exciting and differentiated sports betting experience.”
