Videoslots becomes the latest member of the IBIA
The sportsbook side of the firm joins the body’s monitoring and alert system
Videoslots’ sportsbook has joined many of the world’s leading sportsbooks in being a part of the IBIA’s alert and monitoring system. The members of the IBIA account for around $137bn (£108.9bn) of global betting turnover per year and nearly half of all regulated commercial operator betting activity. Videoslots currently operates in the UK, Sweden, Italy, Spain, Denmark and Malta, and its sportsbook arm launched in June last year. This new addition to the IBIA’s membership comes after two operators joined the global system last month. ComeOnGroup joined the IBIA on 12 April 2022, with VBET following just 10 days later. Martin Calleja, head of sports at Videoslots, said: “Maintaining the integrity of our betting products is of paramount importance to Videoslots, and we recognise the considerable business benefits from joining a globally recognised integrity body like the IBIA. “The association’s network and representation of regulated betting operators provides the perfect partner to bolster our business protection protocols and to identify and punish betting-related corruption.” Khalid Ali, IBIA’s CEO, said: “I’m delighted to welcome another international betting operator into the IBIA. Videoslots’ membership reinforces our position as the leading customer account-based betting integrity monitoring and alert system. “The association looks forward to working closely with Videoslots to protect its betting products and customers from corrupt betting activity.”
