Blexr appoints new general manager to oversee Malta hub
Ian Hills steps up from his role as head of finance to oversee operations on the island
Blexr has appointed Ian Hills as the firm’s new general manager in Malta.
Hills will be stepping up from his role of head of finance to run operations on the island.
The South African originally joined Blexr in December 2018 and in his time so far at the company, has launched a business development team and dedicated analytical and reporting resources for Blexr’s properties.
Hills, who previously held positions at Mr Green and Mansa Gaming, noted that he was “delighted” with his new role.
He said: “I’m delighted to be taking ownership of Blexr’s operations in Malta. I’m excited to come to work here every day and I want our staff to feel the same way.
“We have achieved a great deal already but there’s even more that we can do, so I’ll be guiding our team to reach our ambitious goals,” he added.
Meanwhile co-founder Ian McDonnell has started a new role as CEO of Barcelona-based start-up Apolinia.
