iPhone users deemed smartest by Ladbrokes
Operator carries out mental agility quiz to coincide with new Mobenga partnership
An online test carried out by operator Ladbrokes, to correspond with their new launches on the Mobenga platform, has revealed that iPhone users are the smartest amongst phone users.
The âA Test of Witsâ mental agility quiz challenged a thousand smartphone users to complete a series of brainteasers in the shortest amount of time.
Apple iPhone users were found to be the quickest, completing the questions in an average of 94 seconds, with Android users just lagging behind at 99 seconds.
The slowest results came from Blackberry users who took 118 seconds to complete the test.
Ladbrokes announced its plans to migrate to the Mobenga platform last year and since then has relaunched its sportsbook app on the Playtech-owned platform.
The company also announced a partnership with Chelsea App Factory last year that will see new apps and updates roll out across 2014.
David Williams of Ladbrokes said: “The research was a bit of fun and threw up some intriguing results but the message behind the project is critical.”
“We know that mobile is going to be the key product as we look to grow in 2014 and believe our new Mobenga platform will allow us to compete effectively and successfully.”
