Wednesday round-up 10/12
This weekâs round-up includes an app redesign from Coral and new launches from BoyleSports and Cherry
Coral overhauled its mobile sports betting app to add an entirely new design and several new features to its iOS application. The new design was introduced to be more intuitive and responsive than previous versions of the app, while load times have also been significantly reduced. Live streaming options were added to more sporting events and Coral has also rolled out exclusive bet enhancements for mobile users.
Multi-vertical operators 888 and Betfair also rolled out upgrades to their mobile portfolios this week. While Betfair made a number of minor improvements and amended the compatibility of its Arcade app with the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, 888 made more sweeping changes. The operator has added more live streaming options to its sportsbook app and has improved navigation between sports betting markets while also making a number of fixes to its iOS 8 product.
BoyleSports has released new mobile and tablet-optimised versions of its website as part of a new brand identity and product overhaul. The new products will be pushed with a multi-channel campaign which is due to start in the UK early next year, with the UK-facing advertisements set to focus around its mobile products in the build up to next yearâs Premier League football season and the Rugby Union World Cup.
Nordic casino gaming operator Cherry has partnered with sports betting solutions firm SBTech to diversify and launch its first sports betting product. SBTech will provide the firm with a full turnkey sportsbook solution, including mobile and tablet apps, to integrate with Cherryâs existing gaming brands such as CherryCasino.com and EuroSlots.com.
