Bet365 launches pre-race streaming service
Going to Post video service allows bettors to view potential selections before placing a bet
Bet365 has launched a new horseracing product, which enables fans to size-up potential betting selections via a video stream for up to six minutes before the start of a race.
The âGoing to Postâ betting service, developed by Racecourse Media Group (RMG), allows both mobile and desktop bet365 users with a minimum fund in their account to watch horses both in the parade ring and making their way down to the start.
The pictures, which are accompanied by audio insight from a racecourse commentator, will last up until one minute before the off. Users will then have an opportunity to place a bet with the operator in order to watch the race in full.
The service is available prior to every race from RMGâs 34 racetracks, including Epsom, Ascot, Newmarket, York, Newbury, Goodwood, Cheltenham and Aintree.
âWe are delighted to roll out this new streaming innovation which offers access to exclusive TV pictures prior to the off,â Nick Mills, RMG commercial director, said. âThis will hopefully aid the decision-making process when it comes to staking a bet.
âThe early signs have been very encouraging, with many bet365 users choosing to use the service. The facility is available to all RMG bookmaker partners taking the Bet to View service and is also supported by the introduction of Mobile Archive,â he added.
News of the new product come on the back of another third-party partnership for bet365, with the firm having earlier this month teamed-up with affiliate bettingexpert.com to launch an in-play tipping app.
Last week the operator announced it had agreed a six-year stadium rights deal with Premier League football club Stoke City.
