Colossus Bets appoints new CTO and CIO
London-based firm promotes Paula Cara Farcas and Alberto Zuin following departure of tech chief Myles Milston
Colossus Bets has announced the appointments of a new chief technology officer (CTO) and chief information officer (CIO), prompted by the recent departure of the firm’s CTO Myles Milston.
The pools betting operator this month promoted its head of racing product, Paula Cara Farcas, to the role of CTO, while Alberto Zuin was appointed deputy CTO and CIO after nearly 18 months as head of infrastructure and DevOps.
Cara Farcas and Zuin replace Colossus Bets’ former CTO Myles Milston, who left in recent weeks after three years at the firm to launch blockchain capital raising platform Globacap.

“Myles has been a friend for a decade and as the CTO of Colossus, grew the company from three to 50+ partners in three short, fun-filled years,” said Bernard Marantelli, CEO and founder of Colossus Bets, in a post on LinkedIn.
Marantelli continued: “As such Myles is perfectly poised to disrupt another market as CEO of Globacap, whose mission is to revolutionise debt and equity issuance using blockchain.
