Former Betsson execs launch new gamified slots product
Scatters will launch in 2019 and intends to provide a “safe, trustworthy and player-friendly experience”
Former Betsson director for gaming and managing director for the UK, Andy Braithwaite, is building a new gamified slots offering, EGR has learned.
The so-called Scatters product will be launched on a white label within the next few months, with plans to build out to full operator status within the year.
The product will be heavily gamified with player avatars, missions and achievements which Braithewaite said will be secondary to the overall casino experience.

“We’re pretty diverse in the way we play and so we wanted to create something that offers appeal to bonus-driven players, those who are engaged by gamification and rewards and old-fashioned slots players who just want to get their money in, play a wide range of games and get their winnings out quickly,” said Braithwaite.
Braithwaite has also revived the affiliate site, slotsmad.com, to offer in-depth insight into slots games and stream regular Twitch recordings of slots games uploaded by Braithwaite himself.
He is joined in the venture by ex-Betsson head of casino Alexander Grape, former Betsson MD Alexis, and Karl Andersson who was previously head of marketing for gaming at Betsson
