Bet365 and Ukash make Sunday Times Track 200 list
Egaming firm and payments services provider praised for international sales growth
Egaming heavyweight bet365 and payments provider Ukash have made this year’s Sunday Times International Track 200 list.
The Track 200 ranks British mid-market private companies with total sales over £25m according to how quickly their international sales have grown based on the last two years of available accounts.
Ukash is the highest-ranked firm in the online gambling sector in 72nd place, with average sales growth of 49.67%, and bet365 18 places below in 90th with average growth of 42.93% over the two year period.
The list expands on the Sunday Times’ International Track 100, previously won by Ukash three years in a row, and David Hunter, CEO at Ukash, said the award would be followed by a push into new territories, such as Africa and Latin America.
“As we continue to develop and expand our global network we are not only creating a solution that is easily accessible, we are also giving the payment sector the ability to grow and reach new customers,” Hunter added.
In May Ukash added Betfair to its roster of egaming clients, which already included the likes of bet365, William Hill, Gala Coral, bwin.party and 888.
Bet365’s ranking comes just a week after the firm reported an 81% year-on-year increase in group profits, as revenues soared 38% year-on-year to £1.28bn for the year ended 31 March 2014.
