Amaya's online chief Leggett exits
Leaked email sent by Amaya CEO David Baazov reveals Don Jaques " director of business development " will take over the role
Amaya Gaming’s VP of online Paul Leggett has left the company with immediate effect according to a leaked email sent by the Canadian gaming supplier’s CEO David Baazov.
In the email, seen by USPoker.com, Baazov says that Don Jaques, director of business development at Amaya, will take over Leggett’s responsibilities.
“Paul is a consummate professional and has done an incredible job at Amaya,” said Baazov in the email.
“He has led the integration of the online businesses, developed our strategies for technology and product, signed key deals and has put our online business on the path forward to greater things. He will be sorely missed.”
The former chief operating officer of Ultimate Bet owner Tokwiro Enterprises joined Amaya in April this year, overseeing the Ongame Poker Network and its other online gaming brands.
Amaya Gaming was one of several suppliers to be issued a transactional waiver by New Jersey’s Division of Gaming Enforcement last week, sealing it’s partnerships with Caesars, The Borgata, Trump Plaza and The Golden Nugget in the Garden State.
