888 to unleash Push Technology data platform across all bingo brands
London-listed operator to launch real-time data support framework across network following success on Wink Bingo
888 is primed to launch Push Technology’s Diffusion Intelligent data across its online bingo business as it looks to capitalise on an 8% year-on-year revenue rise in the vertical. 888 had been using the Push Technology product on its Wink Bingo brand since 2014, with the Diffusion Mesh now being deployed across the rest of the operator’s portfolio. Diffusion Mesh allows 888 to meet its event-driven, real-time data requirements, ensuring live games are in sync across its user network. This means that bonuses, vouchers and chat rooms will all be delivered across the network in unison, without delay across different time slots. The Diffusion technology compartmentalises and manages this live data for consumers, reduces the strain on 888’s back-end servers and also reduces bandwidth usage across the network. Ronen Tidhar, 888 bingo R&D director, said: “Before Diffusion, in the chat room players saw different numbers and game starts. Diffusion gives us a big advantage delivering an immersive, real-time player experience. “We have 100,000 bingo players daily with up to 10,000 playing concurrently at peak times. For us, it was amazing that all of the clients’ applications were syncing. “Diffusion’s data efficiency and delta streaming technology provide a big advantage over polling for live play. Diffusion has helped us in delivering an immersive, real-time player experience,” he added.
