BetMGM teams up with Nashville Predators
New sponsorship agreement is second with a Tennessee sports franchise following Titans deal penned in 2020
BetMGM has added a second Nashville sporting franchise to its roster after inking a partnership with Nashville Predators. The multi-year deal will see BetMGM branding displayed throughout the NHL team’s Bridgestone Arena with plans afoot to open a branded restaurant and bar within the premises. An on-ice logo and perimeter board advertising are included in the deal, which will also see additional activation and content provided for customers. The deal comes after signing a similar agreement with NFL team the Tennessee Titans following the legalisation of mobile wagering in the state in 2020. It is the latest signing in an ever-growing sponsorship portfolio for the US betting behemoth after it announced a league-wide NHL partnership earlier this year. The Predators are the latest in a stable that includes the Kansas City Chiefs, Cincinnati Reds New York Knicks and the PGA Tour. Predators president and chief executive Sean Henry said: “We are always looking for ways to enhance SMASHVILLE and bring a better experience to the best fans in sports. “Integrating an industry leader like BetMGM into our building is a tremendous opportunity and we hope to continue to grow our partnership in the years to come.” BetMGM chief revenue officer Matt Prevost added: “The Predators are a tremendous organisation with one of the sport’s most passionate fanbases. “We look forward to our partnership with the team and the opportunity to elevate Nashville’s gameday experience.”
