Malta-headquartered operator becomes the exclusive betting partner of SHL through three-year deal
Betsson today agreed a three-year extension to its sponsorship of the Svenska Hockey League (SHL) in Sweden.

Betsson said the partnership will deepen its commitment to the league by offering brand exposure and financial support to each of the 14 SHL clubs.

Betsson CEO Jesper Svensson said: “We are incredibly proud to be able to support SHL and the clubs once more.
“We are now strengthening the good cooperation that we have built over the years and we will continue to be the most engaging partner and certainly the most passionate one about hockey.
“This means we will have the best betting offers on SHL and will strengthen the coverage of the league with exciting and unique content,” he added.
As the league’s main sponsor, Betsson will guarantee the best average pay-out on the league during the new seasons which begins on 14 September.
Betsson reported a 5% drop in Q2 revenues to £104m following declines in its home Swedish market and a drop-off in the Netherlands.
