BetStars bolsters golf offering with Metric price feed
Metric Gaming to supply Amaya's sportsbook brand with golf pricing feeds with additional sports to be added
BetStars has moved to bolster its golf betting markets after striking an agreement with Metric Gaming to integrate the supplier’s pricing feeds into its platform.
Under the deal, Metric will provide BetStars with pre-match, live and SuperLive feeds for golf tournaments, with scope to expand into other sports such as football at a later date.
Metric’s package includes classic pre-game markets, daily wagering opportunities on round leaders, in-running markets on tournaments and round winners, plus hole-by-hole and shot-by-shot wagers.
“Golf is the perfect sport for in-game and SuperLive betting, so the prospect of delivering our unique vision for golf wagering entertainment with a world-class partner like Amaya is compelling,” Martin de Knijff, Metric Gaming founder, said.
“That BetStars selected our end-to-end golf solution is naturally a welcome endorsement of our product, pricing and technology,” he added.
The news comes after BetStars rolled out its new “game-changing” Spin & Bet product earlier this month, which parent company Amaya said would set the brand apart from its rivals.
Amaya has also ploughed ?10m into advertising and marketing BetStars, which launched in the UK at the start of the year.
