BetVictorâs Instabet app gets overhaul
âBiggest ever updateâ for special offers app sees addition of âtrending betsâ accumulator tab
BetVictorâs innovative sports betting app Instabet has received its âbiggest ever updateâ with the addition of a âtrending betsâ tab that aggregates popular bets directly from the operatorâs main sportsbook.
The new tab sits alongside Instabetâs special offer centre and collects the most popular single event bets at that time, allowing customers to select a number of bets to form a multiple while a calculator at the bottom of the screen shows how much would be won off an entered stake.
Speaking to eGR Mobile Intelligence this morning Turlough Lally, director of mobile at BetVictor, said that the addition was designed to cater for Instabetâs popularity as a social app.
âOn Twitter in particular it has developed something of a cult following, so the addition of the trending feature is something we think will prove popular and something that gives the app a purpose during times when we are not pushing a particular enhanced offer,â Lally added.
BetVictor launched Instabet in February this year and has used its push messaging capability to direct mobile-exclusive price promotions to customers that expire in a pre-determined amount of time.
Meanwhile BetVictor also upgraded its Spincast sports betting app, rolling out a number of bug fixes and stability improvements in its first upgrade since being relaunched in June.
