BingoPort selects mc&c for first TV ad campaign
Inaugural TV campaign will see adverts air throughout July for UK-facing affiliate site
Bingo affiliate BingoPort has launched its first TV ad campaign after signing an advertising deal with media agency mc&c.
The campaign from the Power Affiliate offers players the opportunity to win a new car and has been running for a week and is already producing results according to Bingoport product development and strategy manager Andrew Housego. “We have seen an uplift of over 15 times as many registrations as previously experienced and are smashing our targets,” Housego said.
“Given the competition in this sector, it is not often that affiliates advertise on TV, but we’re confident that we can achieve some fantastic results for Bingoport and its partners, given our expertise in this area and their offering,” Mc&c business director Emmie Faust said.
UK TV ad spend from online bingo operators is set to surpass £50m this year, according to figures from Nielsen, representing an increase of more than 100% over the last three years. Costa Bingo owner bgo Entertainment is among the firms to embark in a major advertising push this year, appointing London-based agency MWO ahead of a £10m marketing campaign.
