BMM Testlabs appoints new international president and CFO
Gene Chayevsky promoted to two senior roles after three years in regional divisions
Games testing company BMM Testlabs has promoted Gene Chayevsky to the twin roles of president and CFO of its BMM International division.
Chayevsky served as executive vice president of the BMM European business over the last three years, spearheading operations in Spain, Italy, Romania and Poland.
He also worked as part of the group’s BMM South America business, which has been appointed an approved test lab for emerging jurisdictions including Buenos Aires and Brazil.
In his new role, Chayevsky will have oversight of executives leading the individual BMM regional divisions in North America, Asia and Africa, as well as group finance for the international brand.
Chayevsky will report directly into BMM Testlabs CEO Martin Storm. Prior to joining BMM, Chayevsky held several roles including CEO of gaming operator Cadillac Jack (now part of the AGS Group). He also worked in private equity and investment banking.
Chayevsky will also hold the additional position of executive director on BMM International’s board of directors.
BMM CEO Storm hailed the appointment of Chayevsky, claiming it fell within the group’s strategy of developing executive leadership internally.
“He has worked incredibly hard at BMM over three years, transforming the European business into an emerging powerhouse within BMM and the market,” Storm said.
Storm went on to confirm the promotion of Marzia Turrini to executive vice president of BMM Europe and South America.
BMM Testlabs is used by international regulators to test online gambling products with international compliance and technical standards. Many regulators will not grant operator licences without appropriate testing taking place beforehand.
