Clive Hawkswood joins beBettor board
RAIG chairman becomes non-executive director of affordability checking firm
Responsible Affiliates in Gambling (RAIG) chairman Clive Hawkswood has joined affordability checking firm beBettor as a non-executive director.
Hawkswood previously spent 14 years as chief executive of the Remote Gambling Association before joining RAIG in May 2019.
BeBettor said Hawkswood’s experience in working with operators as a founding board member of the National Online Self Exclusion Scheme Limited, which created GAMSTOP, will aid in the development of its platform.
The firm offers automated affordability checking software for gambling operators, providing additional data to assist operators in tailoring communications to individuals at risk of gambling-related harm.
“Clive’s knowledge and guidance will be key to us fulfilling our ambitions in helping shape the future of sustainable gambling,” said beBettor CEO Harry Cott.
BeBettor was invited by the UKGC to participate in its Single Customer View Challenge in February, with the regulator looking to develop a single customer interface for all licensed UK gambling sites.
