Coral updates mobile website and iOS app
Improved UX, added bonus functionality and Touch ID login among additions to Coral’s mobile suite
Coral has released a major update to its mobile website and iOS app as the firm looks to build upon triple digit growth in the channel.
Coralâs new mobile website optimises the UX and adds new bonus functionality, but it is the iOS app which gets the bigger overhaul, with new features including Touch ID and passcode login as well as a raft of new games.
There are also improved personalisation features, including a dedicated personal promotions page and easier access to previously played games as part of a new interactive display.
The operator described the app as providing âthe very best sporting and gaming experienceâ as the firm will hope it can further capitalise on remarkable mobile growth in FY2015 H1.
In May Gala Coral reported that mobile sports stakes on its Coral sportsbook had increased 141% during the first six months of the financial year, while gaming stakes also more than doubled. Â The firm also said that mobile accounted for 71% of total sports stakes taken by the online sportsbook.
âThese are pleasing metrics, and we are confident that we can maintain this momentum as we continue to drive operational excellence,â Gala Coral Group CEO Carl Leaver said.
Earlier this summer Coral also rolled out a new version of its iPad-optimised sportsbook, which focused on adding better push notification functionality.
Gala Coral last month agreed terms with Ladbrokes on a merger which would create a firm with online revenues of around £400m.
