The highly computerised gaming experience was far removed from the real world ““ somewhat inevitably, players started to demand a more authentic egaming experience and with the advent of live gaming, that is precisely what they got.
Today, while trust still plays a key role in the increasing popularity of live gaming, player expectations continue to rise. The live gaming experience has to be high quality, requiring increasingly sophisticated technology, while the evolution of Web 2.0 has meant that social interaction is now playing a vital role in the world of live gaming, and can make the difference between a good gaming experience and a great one.
As live gaming continues to evolve, players will continue to expect more from their gaming experience and so, there will always be new challenges. But if the industry can meet these challenges, and continue to provide a more realistic, more authentic and more personalised live gaming experience, the possibilities are endless.
