eGR Operator Awards 2013: Readers select Bridges as host
Kevin Bridges selected ahead of Jack Dee and Jack Whitehall to host the leading awards ceremony for the online gambling sector
eGaming Review readers have selected Kevin Bridges to host the prestigious eGR Operator Awards after the Scottish comedian came out top in a recent poll.
Bridges, one of the UK’s top comedians, narrowly fought off competition from comedians Jack Dee and Jack Whitehall to host the awards which will take place in London on Monday 25 November.
The man from Clydebank is a regular on TV shows such as Mock the Week and recently released his second DVD recorded at the SECC during a ten night sell-out run that saw him perform to 75,000 fans.
Bridges secured 38% of the vote, beating Whitehall by just 5% into second place while Dee secured a 29% vote share and will host the eGR Operator Awards at The Roundhouse in Camden, at what is the egaming industry’s biggest awards night of the year.
Last year the Awards brought together more than 700 egaming operators and other industry professionals to celebrate the genuine innovation and excellence achieved across the online gaming industry.
The closing date to enter the awards is today, 13 September.
