Former Ladbrokes CEO Jim Mullen appointed director of Racecourse Media Group
Mullen arrives as an independent non-executive director alongside Kindred Group chief experience officer Britt Boeskov
Former Ladbrokes Coral CEO Jim Mullen has joined Racecourse Media Group (RMG) as an independent non-executive director, it was announce today.
Mullen has been absent from the egaming industry since leaving Ladbrokes Coral in March 2018 following GVC’s £4bn takeover of the UK betting business.
Prior to that, he was MD of Ladbrokes Digital and COO of William Hill International, having also held the position of digital strategy director at News International before entering the betting industry.
Joining Mullen as a non-executive director on the RMG board is Kindred Group’s chief experience officer, Britt Boeskov.

Boeskov has worked at the Stockholm-listed operator for almost 15 years, occupying several C-level positions including COO and chief programme officer.
The Stars Group’s (TSG) head of commercial legal affairs, Antonia Wright, has also joined the RMG board as company secretary and the RMG executive team as legal director.
RMG chairman Roger Lewis said the trio of appointments will “help RMG understand the challenges faced by the gaming industry” and “provide strategic advice at a pivotal time for the sector”.
“These new appointments will enhance the RMG board’s desire to work closer with the betting and gaming industry,” said Lewis.
“Jim, Britt and Antonia will provide RMG with a better understanding of this critically important driver of our business and will help us build stronger relationships across the industry.
“The RMG ambition is to add as much value as we can to our shareholder racecourses, working alongside betting and gaming partners, and these appointments are a clear signal of our intent.”
