France's Chilipoker signs Paris-Vegas aeroplane sponsorship
Chilipoker has become the offical gaming partner for all Paris-Las Vegas flights run by French tour operator Go Voyages.
CHILIPOKER HAS become the offical gaming partner for all Paris-Las Vegas flights run by French tour operator Go Voyages.
The new route will start on 23 May 2010, with the French online gaming industry hoping the licences to work in France will have been awarded to operators by then.
Chilipoker will brand the inside of the planes as part of the agreement, and is currently in negotiations to also brand parts of the fuselage.
The poker site and new Power 50 entrant will set up an office in Las Vegas as part of the project, with a multilingual concierge service to welcome players with shuttle buses to and from the airport and casinos. Chilipoker founder and chief executive Alexandre Dreyfus explained the aim was to bring more European players to the city.
Dreyfus said: “As an online poker site we felt it appropriate to offer an answer to these dreams by offering all non-English speaking Europeans, and in particular the French, a chance to enjoy a unique experience.
“We hope that with the future regulation of the online gaming market in France, which is set to become effective before 23 May 2010, Chilipoker can occupy a significant place in this new market. From now on, Las Vegas will form an integral part of our marketing strategy in Europe for 2010.”
Go Voyages will run two weekly flights to Las Vegas from Paris Charles de Gaulle on Thursdays and Sundays.
