Gala Coral signs Inspired mobile content deal

Inspired Gaming will provide operator a library of cross-channel slots and casino game including exclusive content 

Gala Coral has continued its investment into its mobile gaming products following a multi-channel slots and casino content deal with Inspired Gaming Group.

The deal will see Inspired’s remote gaming server Virgo integrated into Gala Coral’s platform and the new content made across its mobile apps and online casino domains.

The agreement includes a number of exclusive titles designed specifically for Gala Coral, and the operator will also have access to selected third-party titles.

Gala Coral egaming director Mark Kemp said customers will be able to access the games across retail, desktop and mobile channels, and is supported by the Coral Connect single wallet.

“This partnership is a great step for us in many ways as it adds Inspired’s latest successful mobile releases, the development of new and exclusive multi-channel games and making Coral’s own innovative machines games available to our customers on mobile,” he said.

“Coral is focused on continuing to lead in providing our customers with the best multi-channel machines and mobile gaming experience in the industry.”

Gala Coral Group’s online operations, which includes Coral.co.uk, Galabingo.com, Galacasino.com, Eurobet.it and Gala.se, saw total EBITDA in the 12-week period ended 5 July increase from £8.6m to £13m year-on-year.

Group CEO Carl Leaver lauded the impact of the Playtech and Openbet-powered Coral Connect card, which was rolled out earlier this year and enables customers to place bets via one wallet whether online, on mobile or in shop.

The operator reported that more than 110,000 customers had signed up to Coral Connect, with the card increasing customer spend by two-and-a-half times when compared to regular online customers.

Today’s announcement follows the news earlier this month that Gala Interactive CEO Per Widerstrom is to leave the firm in December to become CEO of Central European operator Fortuna Entertainment.
