Ladbrokes to pay out on trio of Scottish Premiership ante-post bets
GVC-owned bookmaker settles winners on Celtic to win the league and Hearts to be relegated
Ladbrokes has today agreed to pay out on three Scottish Premiership Football League (SPFL) ante-post markets after the season was ended.
The decision to finish the campaign was taken at a board meeting on 18 May after the 12 clubs agreed that completing the remaining domestic fixtures was unfeasible.
Ladbrokes is the title sponsor of the competition and will pay out ante-post bets as winners on Celtic to win the league, Hearts to be relegated and Odsonne Edouard to be top goalscorer.

The GVC-owned bookmaker has also agreed to void bets and return stakes for team and player bets that could mathematically have been successful if the season had played to its conclusion.
A Ladbrokes spokesperson said: “Following the SPFL decision to officially conclude the Ladbrokes Premiership 2019/20 season, we have settled ante post bets in line with our rules.
“However, in order to be as fair as possible to our customers, given the extraordinary and unprecedented circumstances, we have also decided to void any ante post bets that still had a mathematical chance of winning, and refund the stakes in full to customers.”
Ladbrokes’ long-term sponsorship of the SPFL has ended with the current campaign.
