A round-up of the latest launches and deals in the egaming industry including CashBet and MX Digital
Real-money gaming platform provider CashBet has struck a deal with Access Gaming, iSoftBet and Revolver Gaming to launch the game providers’ content on its platform
The casino games will be available via apps on the Alderney-licensed firm’s platform to UK customers on desktop, iOS and Android devices.
“Our turnkey solution allows premium content providers like Macau-based Aspect Gaming, iSoftBet and Revolver Gaming to distribute their content through our next generation, mobile-first platform,” Mike Reaves, CEO and co-founder at CashBet, said.
“These companies are making deeply engaging, differentiated games that can only be played for real-money online on the CashBet platform,” he added.
California-based game developer MX Digital has signed a deal with British bookmaker William Hill to distribute six of its branded slots games.
Under the agreement William Hill will integrate Hollywood-themed titles such as “Missing in Action” starring Chuck Norris, and NBA star Denis Rodman’s “Rad Slam” into its online casino.
“We were very pleased with the audience-appeal of MX Digital’s recent David Hasselhoff slot,” William Hill slots operations manager Will Mathieson, said.
Software provider Fuga Gaming Technologies has expanded its online presence after launching its portfolio of land-based gaming content via Odobo.
The company’s video slots, table, poker and bingo games are now available in HTML5 after announcing its intentions to target new markets including Australia, Europe and mobile users in regulated territories.
“We have vast experience in creating exciting products and of working successfully in different countries and under different gaming legislations,” Konstantin Mikhaylov, managing director at Fuga Gaming Technologies, said.
“To bring our games online we wanted a modern and technologically advanced program with considerable understanding of the market that could make this process efficient and effective,” he added.
Egaming giant bet365 has enhanced the streaming capabilities of its iOS iPhone and iPad apps, enabling customers to watch sporting events and bet on the same screen simultaneously.
An update rolled-out last week added the functionality which expands on the operator’s existing streaming options, a feature cited in the operator’s FY2014 results as having been a key driver for mobile growth.
The capability to feature both a live stream and sports betting market on the same screen is likely to be a key feature for mobile sportsbooksmoving forward, with bet365 having streamed more than 30,000 sporting events on its mobile products during its 2014 fiscal year.
Sports betting affiliate Team FA, the owners of the footyaccumulators.com site, have collaborated with mobile development firm Degree 53 to launch a new version of its Acca Tracker app for Android.
The app has been completely redesigned with an emphasis on personalisation, allowing customers to select their favourite football teams and receive updates on accumulator bets via push notification capabilities.
Match statistics, including live goal scorer updates, bookings and in-play betting markets and odds have also been added to the app which has been re-launched for the 2014-15 football season.
Bwin.party has upgraded its New Jersey-facing partypoker.com platform, including improvements to its mobile geolocation solution and tournament lobby experience, as it prepares for a major tournament series later this month.
Bwin.party said the geolocation upgrade will increase “stability and reliability” for players logging on to the partypoker site via mobile and tablet devices.
The new tournament lobby includes a redesign to make information more visible to assist with buy-in decision, plus more lobby customization options.
Social games developer and operator Zynga has launched a new mobile-focused version of its flagship Zynga Poker app on both iOS and Android.
The revamped poker product features a complete visual redesign, new audio, updated controls designed specifically for mobile, notifications when Facebook friends are playing the game and new technology to place players at a table that matches their skillset.
“In reimagining Zynga Poker, we set out to create the most authentic and immersive poker experience that mirrors the fun and excitement consumers have on real casino floors “ all in a free-to-play social game,” Jon Liu, vice president of games for Zynga Casino, said.
