Australia-based gaming product manufacturer Ainsworth Game Technology has signed an online content licensing agreement with egaming software supplier giant Playtech.
The deal will see Ainsworth provide its game titles available across all of Playtech’s platforms via its Ainsworth GameConnect remote gaming server in the UK and Europe.
“The Ainsworth game supply agreement is our first partnership with the world’s leading land-based content providers whose games will be distributed across all our channels,” Shay Segev, COO of Playtech, said.
“This will give our existing and future online licensees access to proven, premium, localised land-based content, enriching both our and our licensees’ casino offerings as well as giving their players access to an even greater choice of quality titles,” he added.
Games studio Touchstone Games has made its first move into the online gaming space after becoming the 28th developer to join the Odobo Developer Program.
Touchstone Games was launched in 2008 and develops land-based skill games, slots, table games and virtual horse racing products.
“We chose Odobo for our first venture into [egaming] because the Developer Program allows us to concentrate on the game build while Odobo handles everything else,” Julian Mudd from Touchstone Games said.
“This is important for a small but passionate team and will ensure we can deliver an exciting and high-quality HTML5 game,” he added.
Video games publisher Atari has announced the launch of its first real-money online gambling product in partnership with egaming technology firm Pariplay.
Atari Casino was debuted this week and features a variety of slots, Keno and other casino games of popular Atari tiles such as Asteroids and Pong.
“With Atari Casino, we have taken our beloved brands and created a new and innovative way for our fans to experience our classic games,” Fred Chesnais, chief executive officer at Atari, said.
“The real money gaming market is growing rapidly and we believe our joint venture with Pariplay will help position Atari Casino for success by leveraging Pariplay’s expertise and back-end infrastructure in a real-money environment while we bring the Atari community to the table,” he added.
Sky Betting & Gaming has extended its rollout of Touch ID functionality to its Sky Vegas casino app.
The operator claimed an industry first when it introduced the capability to its flagship sports betting app a fortnight ago, and the success of its adoption has led the operator to integrate across its mobile casino app.
A similar phased introduction method was used and eGaming Review understands Touch ID has now been rolled out across 100% of Sky Vegas customers.
BetVictor‘s innovative sports betting app Instabet has received its “biggest ever update” with the addition of a ‘trending bets’ tab that aggregates popular bets directly from the operator’s main sportsbook.
The new tab sits alongside Instabet’s special offer centre and collects the most popular single event bets at that time, allowing customers to select a number of bets to form a multiple while a calculator at the bottom of the screen shows how much would be won off an entered stake.
Speaking to eGR last week, Turlough Lally, director of mobile at BetVictor, said that the addition was designed to cater for Instabet’s popularity as a social app.
London-based social casino operator Plumbee has signed a contract with online slots supplier Quickspin to extend its deal with the firm until December 2017.
The Swedish games provider has supplied over a dozen slots titles such as Supernova, Treasure Island and Sinbad to Plumbee’s flagship Mirrorball Slots app since launching in 2012.
“We have been working closely with the Quickspin team now for more than three years and during this time, we’ve established a great working relationship that has ensured a really rewarding collaborative effort,” Raf Keustermans, CEO and co-founder of Plumbee, said.
