Maxima Compliance appoints first CCO
Former BMM Testlabs director Filippo Ferri links up with compliance technology firm
Maxima Compliance has confirmed the appointment of former BMM director Filippo Ferri as its first chief commercial officer (CCO). A veteran of the igaming industry, Ferri previously spent three years as director of igaming strategy and new products at global testing and technology firm BMM Testlabs. He has also held igaming roles at Inspired Gaming, GLI and Evolution. In his new role as CCO, Ferri will be responsible for leading the compliance technology firm’s commercial strategy as it looks to expand into new markets and he will be based out of Maxima’s Barcelona office. Ferri will report directly into Maxima Compliance CEO Antonio Zanghi. “Filippo brings years of gaming experience to the Maxima Compliance team,” Zanghi said. “As our first CCO, he will oversee commercial operations across the company at a time when we are quickly expanding globally. His expertise is going to be an important addition to the business,” he added. Maxima Compliance provides compliance-based technology and database management services to operators aiming to remain compliant with local regulations. In December, the firm appointed veteran gaming legal counsel Paola Menachem as its first director of regulatory and licensing. Maxima is also understood to be readying a potential expansion to the US market. Incoming Maxima Compliance CCO Ferri added: “I’m thrilled to be joining this innovative company and will work to ensure that its remarkable growth story continues.”
