Maxima Compliance hires BMM Testlabs exec as new director of compliance operations
Former BMM and Betfair director Francesco Bianchi joins compliance database specialists
Maxima Compliance has appointed former BMM director of igaming operations Francesco Bianchi as its new director of compliance operations. Bianchi spent five years with the global testing giant, serving firstly as an operations manager focusing on Europe and Latam before being appointed to the director-level role in 2018. He has also worked for GLi, NMi and exchange operator Betfair in several compliance-facing roles over a 10-year period. In his new role, Bianchi will support Maxima’s management team in areas of strategy and delivery, reporting directly to managing director Antonio Zanghi. Maxima Compliance MD and founder Zanghi welcomed the appointment of Bianchi as a landmark move for the business, citing his status as a leading expert in technical compliance. “His knowledge from more than a decade in the industry is unparalleled and will be an invaluable resource for Maxima Compliance clients looking to gain an edge,” said Zanghi. “He is one of the few people who could make the strongest technical compliance team in gaming even stronger,” Zanghi added. The appointment of Bianchi is the second major hire for the firm this year following the appointment of Dafydd Williams as head of business development in April.
