Maxima Compliance nets former BMM staffer in business development role
María Romero de Alba joins full-service compliance provider following Complitech launch
Maxima Compliance has appointed María Romero De Alba as its new senior business development manager.
Romero De Alba previously worked at global testing and compliance firm BMM Testlabs, where she spent three years as a regional sales manager.
In her new role, she will report to Maxima Compliance MD Antonio Zanghi, working across the firm’s client base on its new Complitech database product.
“María perfectly fits the bill and we are confident that her commercial expertise will help take us to the next level,” said Zanghi.
The appointment of Romero De Alba follows a period of sustained growth at Maxima, in which it has expanded its team, client base and portfolio of products.
In May, Maxima opened its first office in Barcelona, linking to the firm’s technical compliance hub in North Wales and headquarters in London.
Romero De Alba’s appointment is the second major hire from BMM in the space of three months, following the hire of Francesco Bianchi as director of compliance operations in June.
Maxima Compliance is expected to launch a US sports betting version of its Complitech technical database product over the next few months as the firm looks to expand its global reach.
