NetEnt appoints interim CFO
Lars Johansson previously acted as CFO for government-owned airport-management company Swedavia
NetEnt has appointed Lars Johansson as interim CFO to replace Therese Hillman, who was promoted from CFO to CEO in May.
Johansson’s career history includes stints as senior investment director of private equity firm Ratos AB and CFO for government-owned airport management company Swedavia AB.
The CFO position has remained vacant since Hillman took on the role of permanent group CEO.
Prior to her time at NetEnt, Hillman was the CEO of Swedish ecommerce company, Gymgrossisten, a subsidiary of the Qliro Group.
She also sat on the executive board for Unibet and began her career as an analyst for Handelsbanken.
In July, NetEnt reported a 6% rise in Q2 revenues to SEK 437m (€44m). EBIT also saw slow growth, up by 1.2% to SEK 149m (€15m), as the firm continued its below-market growth of recent quarters.
