Player deposits boost NetPlay Q3 revenues
Revenue increase of 34% also attributed to uptake of the operator's mobile and tablet offering.
Impressive growth in new depositing and active depositing casino players has seen NetPlay TV’s revenues increase 34% for the third quarter compared to the same period last year, according to results posted this morning.
In comparison to Q3 2011, the number of new players increased from 7,892 to 11,978, a 52% rise, while the period also saw the total of active depositing casino players up 42%, from 15,805 to 22,417. Revenues for the operator’s mobile and tablet offering increased by 107% in Q3 2012.
The year so far has seen consistent growth for NetPlay. In its interim financial results posted last month, the operator revealed that revenue had risen by 33% year-on-year to £13.03m.
The bingo offering was sold to an undisclosed buyer for £375,000 in the first quarter of this year, a development NetPlay described as in-keeping with its “strategy of focusing on the core live TV casino offering.”
The emphasis on its live TV casino offering has seen the operator sign extensions to its broadcasting agreements with UK TV channels Five and ITV, inking a five-year deal to broadcast Supercasino on Five, and a two-year deal to air live roulette show Jackpot247 on ITV. The Supercasino brand has also been enhanced by a live roulette offering which was added to its iPad app at the end of Q4 2011.
