Playtech makes SSBT racecourse debut at Chester
Supplier “improves retail betting experience” with the launch of SSBTs at Boodles May Festival
Playtech BGT Sports (PBS) will launch its SSBTs at the Chester Racecourse Boodles May Festival this week, under the Chester Sport brand.
The supplier’s SSBTs will offer punters their entire product range, including a full suite of integrated content for all major sports.
PBS first entered the racecourse market with a pilot run at Bangor-on-Dee in late April, with the positive feedback encouraging a wider rollout.
John Pettit, MD for UK, Ireland, Asia and Australia at PBS, said the move was “the next step in improving the retail betting experience through digital technology.”
“Feedback at the Bangor-On-Dee meeting in April was very positive, with customers enjoying the greater choice and content immediately available to them.
“We expect this demand to drive SSBTs into more racecourses over the coming months and years,” he added.
Head of gaming at Chester Race Company, Tony May, commented: “We hope our visitors will appreciate the greatly improved experience these terminals provide.”
Playtech’s BGT Sports division revealed its latest omni-channel BetTracker product in February.
