Playtech appoints egaming law expert Claire Milne to board
Milne was also previously chair of the Isle of Man gambling regulator for five years
Playtech has appointed egaming and technology law expert Claire Milne to its board as an independent non-executive director.
Milne has more than 20 years’ experience advising gaming clients as an in-house and private lawyer, and was also previously chair of the Isle of Man Gambling Supervision Commission for five years until 2012.
She is currently a partner at Isle of Man-based law firm Appleby where she is team leader for the Intellectual Property and Science & Technology teams.
Alan Jackson, chairman of Playtech, said he was “delighted” to welcome Milne onto the board.
“As a leading global software provider it is fitting that Playtech’s Board contains a wealth of knowledge in the developing areas of technology and egaming law,” said Jackson.
“Claire brings 20 years’ experience of advising multi-national corporations in these evolving sectors and we look forward to benefitting from her expertise,” he added.
Milne joins the supplier giant’s Remuneration Committee, Risk & Compliance Committee, Audit Committee and Nominations Committee.
