Rocket X plots novelty-led Pink Casino sportsbook
Brand has also signed a major deal to sponsor this summer’s series of Celebrity Big Brother
Rocket X is looking to add a betting product to its female-targeted casino brand, Pink Casino, EGR understands.
Rocket X CEO Mark Good told EGR the operator was considering adding betting to the brand with plans to make novelty markets, like betting on reality television, the focus.
“We may in future add betting to Pink Casino for example and adjust the UX so that novelty markets, like betting on our sponsored TV program Celebrity Big Brother, takes the most prominent positioning,” Good said.
Earlier this month, Pink Casino signed a deal with Channel 5 to become the highline sponsor for this summer’s Celebrity Big Brother series and is currently working on a marketing campaign to accompany the show
The operator is in the process of expanding its premises in Newcastle to accommodate more staff following the acquisition by LeoVegas in January.
In the past year staff numbers have doubled and more are being sought out in a new recruitment drive.
Good also suggested the operator may look to expand its offering outside of the UK. “We recognise the opportunity to take Rocket X managed brands into further territories in future,” he said.
The operator this week partnered with SBTech to provide sportsbooks for its BetUK and 21.co.uk brands.
