Scientific Games primed for Stockholm office expansion
Sweden-based SG Digital division to boost headcount by 50 to fuel European growth
Scientific Games will boost its SG Digital division in Stockholm by 50 employees to meet growing business needs and support European expansion, the firm announced this morning.
According to the firm, the office expansion will bring employees from across the division into a central Stockholm location, focusing on technical operations and gaming and platform development.
Among the new roles available will be senior platform developer, quality assurance engineer and DevOps and TechOps engineers.
SG Digital HR chief Doreena Ross said: “Stockholm is a perfect addition to our expanded presence as it has a wealth of technology talent, massive growth opportunity, and a great community on which we can build a strong team.
“We expect increased presence in many other global locations as we drive our products to lead the industry,” she added.
CTO Chris Armes said: “Our expanded presence in Stockholm will go a long way in supporting our growth initiatives in Europe.
“We have tremendous growth opportunity across our organisation and this new centre will fuel our success in the European market.
“Now is the perfect time to join the gaming and sports industry and the space is set for continued success and we look forward to years of strong performance from our teams there.”
This expansion in Stockholm comes off the back of similar extensions in London, Athens, Krakow and Montreal following Scientific Games’ acquisition of NYX Gaming Group.
Scientific Games appointed Barry Cottle as its new CEO and chairman in May.
