Senet Group unveils Euro 2016 ad campaign
Gambling watchdog continues 'Bad Betty' theme with the launch of new adverts across TV, print and social media
The Senet Group will today kick off a new nationwide advertising campaign ahead of this summer’s European Championships, the self-regulatory body announced this morning.
The new marketing push is designed to encourage responsible gambling throughout the month-long tournament and will feature a new TV advert based on its previously released ‘Bad Betty’ theme.
Adverts will also appear in national newspapers and across social media.
The ‘Bad Betty’ adverts, which feature a re-work of Ram Jam’s ‘Black Betty’ song, were first launched last year and feature The Senet Group’s ‘When the fun stops, stop’ slogan.
“Our ‘Bad Betty’ adverts continue to be very successful in educating gamblers to become more aware of the signs behind problem gambling, as well as encouraging a more responsible approach,” Wanda Goldwag, chair of The Senet Group, said.
“Our expanding membership means that more gamblers and the wider public are exposed to our campaigns and we hope people will follow the tips in our new adverts during the Euros.”
According to the independent gambling watchdog, the organisation’s marketing campaigns have helped more than one-third of regular gamblers control their gambling.
The Senet Group currently consists of Gala Coral, William Hill, Ladbrokes, Paddy Power, Scotbet and Sky Betting & Gaming.
