STS hires former Cherry head of development as CTO

Polish operator STS has hired Wojciech Sznapka as group head of technology, to lead all technological development within the business.

Sznapka was previously head of development and a member of the management team for the Cherry Group-owned marketing technology subsidiary, XCaliber.

Whilst at XCaliber he was responsible for developing and managing the firm’s casino and bookmaking software, as well as its payment platforms, a data warehouse system, and an affiliation system.

At STS, Sznapka will be tasked with supervising the overall technology strategy for the entire group, including its Czech subsidiary Greep and its sports betting technology, Betsys.

A statement from the operator said: “Sznapka will be responsible for the optimization of technological and software processes.

“Ultimately, he will take over complete supervision over the team of developers and technological development in all the Group companies.”
