Victor Chandler has hired ID verification firm 192Business to replace incumbent ID checking company GB Group.

The Gibraltar-based bookmaker will use 192 Business’s solution to verify player age and identity and help identify underage customers and prevent card fraud across all its betting and gaming products.
Victor Chandler chief executive Michael Carlton said: “We now turn over in excess of £1bn and have over half a million customers in over 160 different countries. At this point in our growth it is crucial that we look at boosting our player verification tools so that we can better control our business whilst we enjoy success in the UK market and welcome customers from all corners of the globe.”
Victor Chandler follows 888, which signed up with 192Business in April.
192business in May launched a new German ID check solution using data sources including German credit-agency Schufa.
