Online casino brand appoints William Ahlberg as new head of games while Gemma Hodge joins from Cherry Group
Online casino operator Videoslots.com has made two new executive appointments with William Ahlberg promoted to head of games and Gemma Hodge arriving as head of HR.
Ahlberg will be responsible for community management, supplier relationships and providing fresh content in his new head of games role, having risen through the ranks at Videoslots over the last 18 months.
“In my time at Videoslots, I’ve seen a dynamic team whose sole focus is on delivering the best gaming experience to the customer and I’m looking forward to utilising my expertise to confirm our position as the leading online casino,” said Ahlberg.

Hodge joins the firm after five years with Cherry Group, where she most recently worked as head of HR for the operator’s sports betting brand, ComeOn.
The Videoslots team has expanded rapidly over the last 12 months and Hodge will be tasked with integrating current and prospective employees while enhancing the firm’s reputation as a gaming industry employer in Malta.
Hodge said: “Videoslots continues to be one of the most progressive operators around in terms of diversity, culture and work-life balance so I’m pleased to join this exciting company.”
Videoslots CEO Alexander Stevendahl added: “We’re very pleased to have secured two outstanding candidates for these key roles.
“With William’s knowledge of the wider gaming industry and Gemma’s previous experience leading the HR department at another major operator, we’re sure they’ll both add considerably to our growing team.”
Videoslots is expected to launch a poker product in H1 2018, after purchasing the PKR software last year.
