This weekâs round-up includes news of Camelotâs ârevolutionaryâ new mobile platform and Sky Betâs new casino app
UK National Lottery operator Camelot has launched a ârevolutionaryâ new online platform which included the launch of an entirely redesigned mobile site. The operator adopted responsive design initiatives in order to improve the display of the website on mobile and tablet devices while the new platform has enabled the launch of instant win games on mobile for the first time.
Sky Betting and Gaming launched its new Playtech-powered Sky Casino app this week, less than a week after the operator revealed it had extended its partnership with the software supplier. Sky Casino sits alongside the existing Sky Vegas app and features a host of new casino games and live dealer products powered by Playtech.
Mobile casino firm Probability launched a new white label mobile casino after partnering with start-up development studio Articq Media. The new casino, dubbed SlotONation.co.uk, features 25 mobile-optimised slot titles available across iOS and Android devices and Steve Payne, head of partner relations at Probability, said Probability would bring âin-depthâ experience to the white label offering.
Nordic operator Betsson became the latest egaming firm to sign with Cherryâs B2B casino supplier Yggdrasil Gaming. The operator will receive Yggdrasilâs entire portfolio of games content including its slots, lottery and scratch card games for mobile devices, becoming the 12th operator to do so after the likes of Unibet, LeoVegas and Mr Green. âThese are exciting times for Yggdrasil with so many new operators joining us over the next few months, as well as new games being introduced and the much anticipated launch of Lotto7,â Fredrik Elmqvist, CEO at Yggdrasil Gaming, said.
UK bookmaker William Hill rolled out a branding update to its Vegas app this week, adding a new App Store icon while also rolling out a number of bug fixes. Hills also made a number of adjustments to its recently-launched 433 sports betting app and made it available in Ireland, while Bwin.party also fixed several bugs identified within its partypoker app.
