This weekâs round-up includes app updates from Coral, Betfair and Betsson ahead of the new Premier League season
Intertain announced its InterCasino and InterBingo brands are to launch mobile products powered by Amayaâs mobile platform within the next four weeks. âHaving mobile up there right now is something that is really important to us and as soon as we have that product⦠it will really be the impetus for us to start spending our marketing dollars,â John Fitzgerald, CEO at Intertain, said.
Sportsbook provider Kambi Sports Solutions revealed it will focus on extending its mobile HTML5 sportsbook client to the web in the coming months. The supplier made the announcement during its Q2 results disclosure last week, with chief executive Kristian Nylen telling sister publication eGaming Review that operators using the platform including Unibet, 888 and 32Red have been âoutperforming the marketâ.
Coral rolled out an update to its sportsbook app ahead of the new English Premier League season this weekend. The operator improved the appâs overall stability and added more livestreaming, while a series of quick links were added to enable customers to quickly place bets directly from the appâs home screen. Bug and crash fixes were also rolled out.
Betfair continued its ongoing upgrade of its mobile gaming apps with the sixth upgrade made to its mobile arcade app since early June. Improvements to the look and feel of the app were made while the app now filters its games more accurately when customers search for specific titles. A host of new in-app promotions have also been added, while bug fixes were made to improve on the appâs stability.
Betsson also rolled an app upgrade this week as it made various adjustments to the sports betting side of its iOS mobile application. Customers can now select their favourite teams, leagues and events in order to receive updates and offers related to them in in an upgrade similar to that rolled out to the bet365 app earlier this year. Performance improvements were also made to the app.
