Williams Interactive launches real-money mobile platform
HTML5-powered mobile platform allows for multi-channel game launches as company prepares Zeus III and Rainbow Riches launches
Scientific Games subsidiary Williams Interactive has launched a new html5 mobile platform, optimising titles from its game server for various mobile devices.
Operators signed up to the Williams Interactive Game Server will receive mobile-optimised versions of Williams Interactive’s slots titles, allowing for multi-channel game launches in preparation for launches of new games Zeus III and Rainbow Riches, which have been scheduled for January 2014.
“The ability to launch our games on desktop, tablet and mobile simultaneously maximises the value from each game in our extensive library, and provides our casino customers enhanced entertainment potential from each theme we release,” Orrin Edidin (pictured), group chief executive at Williams Interactive, said.
The platform is HTML5-powered and optimises games for both tablet and smartphones, adapting them depending on the device’s operating system, screen size and resolution.
Unibet has become the first egaming operator to go live with the platform and the company’s head of gaming Daniel Eskola praised its ability to deliver high-resolution slot titles.
“We’re excited for the benefits we’ll gain from their multi-channel game launch strategy, including the efficiency in our marketing efforts on new themes and the ability to provide our players with on the go access to the same exciting content they enjoy via their computers,” Eskola said.
