YGAM adds five new members to board of trustees
The new board members, including a PwC exec and ex-NSPCC head, will work to implement the charity’s new three-year strategy
The Charity Commission confirmed five new appointments to the board of trustees at the Young Gamers and Gambling Education Trust (YGAM). The new members will be a part of the planning process of the charity’s new three-year strategy. The new members include Clive Reeves, PwC’s global esports leader, and Anna Greaves, who has 14 years of professional fundraising experience, and is part of the Crisis UK team. David Miller has also been appointed to board and is a marketing, gaming and digital content advisor working for War Child, an NGO children’s charity. Paul Morris, a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and current VP of business risk management at the State Street Corporation has also been onboarded. Lastly, Glen Fendley who has 25 years of experience in the industry and has worked for the NSPCC and WWF. Mike Wojcik, chair of YGAM, stated: “I’m thrilled to welcome our new trustees to the charity and delighted we continue to attract professionals with such ability, experience, and knowledge. “They are joining the board at a crucial time as we build on our reputation as a sector-leading education charity and develop our ambitious new strategy which will be launched at the start of 2023. It’s already apparent that the newly revitalised board will achieve great things in supporting the excellent staff team to achieve impact our social purpose,” Wojcik added. YGAM recently joined the Children and Young People’s Mental Health Coalition, which aims to give kids and young people an environment that prioritises mental health and wellbeing.
